                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO
                   CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN, APPRAISER, TO
                   PERFORM APPRAISALS REQUIRED BY THE
                   ENGINEERING DIVISION ON A SIX-MONTH CONTRACT
                   BASIS FOR THE LOW BID OF FIFTEEN AND NO/100
                   DOLLARS ($15.00) PER HOUR PLUS 28/100
                   DOLLARS ($.28) PER MILE.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to contract with
       Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to perform appraisals required by the
       Engineering Division on a six-month contract basis for the low 
bid
       of $15.00 per hour plus $.28 per mile.
